A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING SPEEDS:
For better or for worse, Alewives Fabrics is not like other online shops (Feel free to subscribe to my newsletter to get a feel for how I am not your run-of-the-mill Quilt Shop!). Alewives is staffed by one person, and I do the best I can to ship things out in a timely manner. Having said that, I'm also balancing motherhood, personal life, my health, and a busy shop with a sizable backlog of orders that I fill in chronological order. There may be stretches when a few days have gone by and you do not receive a shipping notification from me. If this happens, please do not worry. I am working away behind the scenes to get your order out the door as soon as possible. If you ever have a question about lead times, or if you're in a situation where you need your order expedited, please feel free to email me at alewives@alewivesfabrics.com. I will either answer your inquiry right away, or happily move you to the front of the shipping queue. Please note that shipping after a sale is often delayed due to volume, and I am not in the shop on weekends, so nothing ships out on Saturday or Sunday. Sometimes, I do something fun, like go on vacation, and that slows things down, too! I am always looking for ways to improve my shipping times, and I know you are anticipating your fabric's arrival ( a part of my job I take very seriously). I appreciate your patience when this one woman show is a bit on the slow side. Thank you for your understanding... and your orders!
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
It is my intention that you have a great experience with Alewives Fabrics from start to finish and I work very hard to meet your needs. If you are unsure of a fabric's weight or color I suggest ordering a half yard (this is my minimum cut), just to be sure. Please be advised that cut fabrics may not be returned unless flawed, incorrect, or a misrepresentation of what you ordered. Please also keep in mind that every computer/phone screen is different, so while I make every effort to make the images on my website as accurate as possible, slight variations in color may occur.
