Each kit includes 8 fat quarters and one pack of (100) 1" inch honeycomb papers, plus instructions for English paper piecing and fussy cutting. Each kit will make at least 8 original blocks and potentially more with careful cutting and reusing of papers. What makes the Luxury Lucy kits special? They include designer quilting cottons plus luxury fabrics, such as Liberty of London, Tilda Fabrics, and Valdrôme Fabrics imported from France. Important notes: Every so often when I am running low on the fabrics in a kit I will make a thoughtful (fabulous!) substitution, but only when necessary, and never more than two substitutions per kit. Last but not least, no two fat quarters are created equal! My sample blocks are for inspiration only. Although you will almost always be able to recreate my sample blocks with the fat quarters in your kit, depending on how the repeat falls in your fat quarter you may have to instead use them as a starting point to get you going. This is not a bad thing, but an opportunity to let your creative juices flow, and ask yourself, what would Lucy do?
