In Nel Whatmore's own words, "the inspiration for my fabric collections comes from many different places and Orient is no exception. I love things that have an oriental influence and this collection harkens back to my Grandfathers travels in the East and the little treasures he returned with little oriental pictures we have in our bedroom painted on rice paper, 1950's tin ware that cleverly mixes different styles of patterns together to create a distinctive eclectic feel of their own."
